If you had some particularly bad luck with cards when starting Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, chances are you want to take the gacha game route and reroll your account to stay competitive early on and even later, depending on what you end up getting. To do this, you’ll have to delete and reset account in Master Duel to start anew with a fresh new starter deck.

How to Delete and Reset Your Yu-Gi-Oh! Account Duel Master

Warning!

Yu-Gi- Oh! Master Duel is a Konami game, and it’s tied to your Konami ID, which you must establish before playing any of the company’s games. Your Konami ID is then linked to your platform account, whether it’s a PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or Steam account.

If you wish to restart your Konami games from the beginning, there is no easy way to do it. As a result, the only option is to erase your previous Konami account, which is irreversible once deleted, and create a new blank Konami account on a different platform.

This implies that if you remove your Konami account in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, you won’t be able to register a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel account using your existing platform account, making it impossible to play the game on any of the platforms associated with your destroyed Konami account.

You will have to start a brand-new game client profile on your current gaming platform and create a new Konami ID, which technically resets your account.

How to Deactivate or Deactivate Your Account

If you understand the implications of your choice and still want to delete your Konami account, then complete these steps:

  1. Go to Konami ID page
  2. Click on “Konami ID” menu
  3. Select “Delete Konami ID” option
  4. Log in to your account by entering your ID and password
  5. Read Terms and Conditions
  6. Select “Agree” option
  7. Check “Agree” box at the bottom
  8. Confirm by pressing “DELETE“

You’ll see the following message at the end:

“IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your Konami ID cannot be recovered in any manner after it has been erased.”
