The integration between Hyatt and the AMR Collection hotels began on Monday, April 4, and you can now earn and redeem World of Hyatt points at six AMR Collection properties in Cancun. While this is just a small portion of the AMR Collection, on May 9, 2022, Hyatt will open more than 50 new locations around the Americas. The other resorts will be connected at a later period.
What can you anticipate from Hyatt’s most recent updates?
Hyatt is launching a new reward chart for all of its all-inclusive hotels with the integration of the AMR Collection. Yes, this new reward scheme will apply to the current six Hyatt Ziva and three Hyatt Zilara properties in the Hyatt portfolio.
The new all-inclusive award system is distinct from Hyatt’s old award chart, and it is organized into A through F categories. For a regular night with double occupancy, all-inclusive resorts on the new reward chart cost between 15,000 and 50,000 points per night. The reward chart will contain peak and off-peak prices, much like the rest of the World of Hyatt locations.

The needed quantity of points every night is good for up to two people in the accommodation. Then, depending on the category level and whether you’re staying on regular, peak, or off-peak dates, each visitor pays an extra amount of points.
Members will be able to use their free night reward certificates in all-inclusive resorts, it’s worth noting. Members who have a Category 1-7 free night reward certificate may use it to stay at an all-inclusive facility in Category A-D. In the new reward chart, Category 1-4 free night award certificates cannot be redeemed at all-inclusive establishments.
When it comes to hotel and airline reward program adjustments, customers are usually disappointed. However, we believe that this is a beneficial new reward chart for customers to take advantage of. The current all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, including the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Zilara Cancun, and Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun, will now be included in the new reward table. Each of the current three properties will fall into the Category C bucket as of April 4. At the Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf Resort & Spa, for example, you can redeem 29,000 points per night to stay in a 600-square-foot junior suite at the Category C property. Families will appreciate the two queen bed set up with a sofa bed to spread out even more. These rooms also feature your own hot tub on a private terrace.
You may earn World of Hyatt points using a variety of credit cards in addition to the standard approach of staying at a Hyatt location. Sign-up incentives are the easiest way to earn them, and then you may add to your collection by using your card for ordinary purchases.
