Project Gorgon is a free-to-play game that lets players create their own fantasy worlds. The latest patch, released earlier this month, adds animal husbandry and a town players can level up.
Project Gorgon is a sandbox survival game that has recently released its latest patch. The new patch adds animal husbandry and a town players can level up.
This week sees the release of Project Gorgon’s autumn upgrade. “There’s a new high-level zone, a metric tonne of UI repairs and upgrades, and a metric tonne of UI fixes and improvements,” Elder Game adds. Povus, as promised, is the high-level zone, targeted for toons with fighting abilities of 75 to 85. Players essentially level up the town by adding additional NPCs and facilities as they go through the questline.
The Animal Husbandry system, which Elder Game has been talking about for half of eternity, is one of the abilities.
“With this ability, you may breed your stable pets to produce new baby pets. To begin breeding, talk with a certified stablemaster after you acquire the talent. […] Selling or giving away the kids is one of the most enjoyable aspects of breeding pets. As a result, we’ve introduced the ability to “store” pets by converting them into goods that may be transferred to other players. The item may then be used to add that pet to the player’s stable. However, there are some restrictions! To begin, you may only sell pets that were born in your stables. Pets you catch in the wild can never be sold. (This means you can’t catch and resell Hissy, for example.) Second, you’ll need to acquire a Pet Cage item, which will need the use of a gadgeteer player who is familiar with the process. Finally, a pet cannot be kept in a cage indefinitely! There is a maximum lifetime for each kind of pet cage. If the pet is not removed from the cage (and placed in someone’s stable) before the time limit expires, the pet will escape and be lost forever.”
There are also changes for animal management, psychology, werewolves, animal armor, player stores, loot, animations, and the UI, as well as “staff, shield, and cow nerfs,” which is a phrase you may only write in Project Gorgon threads.
