Was there been a player with greater offensive versatility than Kobe Bryant? While Bryant never shattered the NBA’s all-time scoring record, he did leave a lasting impression on the globe. Apart from Wilt Chamberlain, Bryant is the only other player to have scored at least 80 points in a game. He once had one of the best months in NBA history, scoring at least 50 points in four consecutive games.

We haven’t seen scoring like Bryant in the previous 30 years, outside of Michael Jordan. While many of these events occurred over a remarkable two-year period from 2005 to 2007, Bryant also had some other memorable moments. Bryant’s career is one that deserves to be remembered. That is exactly what we will do right now.

Bryant has set a career best in points versus every NBA franchise.

Hawks of Atlanta – 41 points

41 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 0 blocks were his stats.

The Hawks were kept scoreless for five minutes at one point as Bryant blasted shot after shot. Bryant had a season-high eight rebounds as well.

The Boston Celtics have a total of 43 points.

Bryant did not disappoint as he returned from a one-game ban to help the Celtics lose for the 13th time in a row in 2007. Bryant was coming off two consecutive games in which he failed to make game-winning buzzer-beaters. He was 18 of 39 from the field at the time, keeping the team above.500.

Head coach Phil Jackson yelled with the squad to run their offense at one point during the game, but the players kept coming back to Bryant, according to Jackson. Bryant decided to take things into his own hands by shooting 45 shots in 55 minutes instead of depending on Kwame Brown and Smush Parker. Bryant’s teammates did not take more than ten shots.
