About the Sriracha Cream Sauce on Grilled Turkey Burgers
I’ve spoken with folks who believe that all hamburgers are unhealthy.
They’re somewhat correct.
Some of them aren’t as healthful as others, depending on the components and their quality.
These Sriracha Cream Sauce Grilled Turkey Burgers are an exception.
sauce with sriracha has recently been a favorite of mine. This sauce enhances the taste of practically any dish. I can’t say I’d use it as a stand-alone dipping sauce since the heat would be too much. At least, that is how it seems to me.
This sauce, however, is fantastic when combined with other foods.
A turkey burger was on the menu when my husband and I went to TruFire for lunch the other day.
I haven’t eaten a turkey burger in what seems like an eternity.
And it sounded fantastic.
So we opted to divide the burger and pair it with a massive Grilled Artichoke.
By the way, TruFire is not just a fantastic restaurant that supports local farmers…also it’s my favorite sort of restaurant… However, the servings are massive.
We had so much food that half of the artichoke had to be taken home.
But that incredible turkey burger lingered in my mind, and I was determined to recreate it at home.
So I inquired of the manager, Eric, about their success.
He gave me all the secrets, including how to prepare the fantastic sauce that they served with it, bless his heart.
So, of course, I had to tell you about it.
So, let’s get started.

How to Make Sriracha Cream Sauce for Grilled Turkey Burgers
Combine ground turkey, Sriracha sauce, shallots, salt, and chopped cilantro in a medium mixing bowl. It made all the difference having those things in the burger.
As a result, I gently combined the ingredients and patted them into patties. I prepared these substantial 1/4 pound turkey burgers using a pound of turkey.
After that, I utilized my trusty Griddler.
It’s one of my favorites to use since it really sears the meat and cooks it twice as quickly because you shut the top and it cooks both sides at the same time.
My burger was cooked for a total of 2 minutes. Grill marks are perfect.
If you don’t have a Griddler, just grill the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side.
(Make sure the temperature inside the oven is at least 165 degrees.)
Then remove them off the grill, cover with foil, and set aside for 5 minutes while you toast the buns. In about 1-2 minutes, they’ll be nice and warm.
The Sriracha Cream Sauce is the next phase.
So easy to make and so delicious.
Simply combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and a little amount of sour cream in a mixing bowl.
Assemble and serve the burgers.
Oh, no… One thing I forgot to say.
No, I didn’t use it in this recipe, but Eric did tell me something else…
Just two words. Cheese from Manchago…
Oh, the horror. It’s a Spanish cheese if you’ve never had it before.
It’s fantastic.
Particularly melting.
Truth be told, I purchased the cheese with the intention of using it…but I forgot.
What’s more, you know what? Neither of us seemed to notice.
These burgers are incredible.
Enjoy.
