“So, how it works: if you want to be married overseas, there’s a whole different process,” one of HGTV’s resident twins said. “So, kind of like the legal wedding is done here, and then you just have a ceremony and all the fun things abroad.”

Drew went on to describe their unique wedding, which was held in a hot tub. “Instead of exchanging rings, we swapped burgers,” the star of “The Property Brothers” said.
“The justice of the peace came to us while we were in the hot tub, and we assumed they would say, ‘No, we can’t do that,” he said. “But she was really cool,” Linda said.
The pair met in 2010 at Toronto Fashion Week, according to People, and became engaged six years later. “I’ve never met another lady like her,” he told the magazine, “and once you do, you want to be with her forever.”

Drew spoke to People about his plans to have a family. “Well, I’m not saying we have one ready to go, but hopefully soon!” he said when the magazine questioned whether 2020 will be the year. I believe you will see us declaring to the globe very soon.”
While he acknowledges that their parents are eager for grandkids, his hectic schedule has proved to be a hindrance. He has hosted television shows, founded a production business, and founded a magazine with his twin brother Jonathan.
He told People, “I believe it’s spending less time working and more time with ourselves.” “It’s difficult to raise a family if we’re always on the road filming.”
“I know Linda is going to be a wonderful mom, and I hope I’ll be a terrific dad,” he said.
