The “celtics roster” is a team in the NBA. The “celtics star sounds off after win ‘I’m the best player’”, Jaylen Brown, said after his team beat the Milwaukee Bucks.
Celtics star Kyrie Irving is a two-time NBA All-Star, a member of the “dunk contest” team and one of the top 3 players in this year’s MVP race. The Celtics have been dominating their opponents over the past few seasons, with Boston looking to take down LeBron James and company for yet another conference title this season.

After an unexpectedly poor start to the season, Jayson Tatum has finally put together two excellent shooting games. Nonetheless, Tatum’s performance against the Los Angeles Lakers was undoubtedly his finest of the season thus far, as the Boston Celtics defeated their opponents 130-108.
Tatum came into the game after breaking his shooting drought against the Atlanta Hawks on November 17th. In little under 39 minutes, the All-Star winger scored 34 points on 54.5 percent field shooting and 41.7 percent three-point shooting. Tatum, on the other hand, had several high-scoring games earlier in the season but struggled to maintain consistency.
However, against the Lakers, when the lights were blazing brightest, the Celtics great player came to life, scoring 37 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 33 minutes of action. Tatum’s shooting splits were as spectacular, with a 50 percent field goal percentage and a 44.4 percent three-point percentage, as well as seven trips to the free-throw line.
“I didn’t expect to be shooting this poorly at the start of the season, but I was never concerned.” I put in much too much effort to ever be concerned or doubtful. After his second great shooting night in a row, Tatum told the reporters, “Hopefully, I can keep it up.”
Tatum was successful in a variety of ways, scoring in the post, off isolations, working off the ball, and driving the tempo in transition. Ime Udoka, the head coach, was likewise thrilled with his star player’s efforts and addressed to the media after the game about Tatum’s influence.
“We need him to be able to make swift judgments.” We like some of his matchups because he can take advantage of his size, but he did it from all over tonight, isolations, post-ups, and pick-and-rolls. So, when he’s extra aggressive like that, moving downhill, he knows the mob he pulls will double him, and he got off the ball, as he has all year.”

‘When I go on the floor, I tell myself that I’m the best player,’ Tatum says.
Despite the fact that the Lakers had six probable future Hall-of-Famers, Tatum was easily the most dominating player on the court against them. The Celtics winger used a combination of toughness and talent to dominate his matchups and punish any missed or sloppy rotations.
Tatum spoke on his thinking and when he started to feel like he belonged at the top of the table after the game.
“Honestly, I believe it was my third season when I made my first All-Star game and was in the locker room with LeBron, AD, Harden, and Kawhi, and it was the first time in my career that I felt like I belonged in this room.” Those people have done a lot more and have played longer, but I was in the locker room with them. I was a member of their group. Since then, I’ve taken the attitude that I belonged in that locker room, and whether or not anybody else believes it, I tell myself every time I get onto the field that I’m the greatest player. I simply recall well that I’ve maintained that attitude with me since that game.”
Play Jayson Tatum on his shooting slump: “I was never scared” | Celtics vs. Lakers BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS — Following Boston’s strong performance over the Lakers, Jayson Tatum talked with the media. Tatum was candid about his shooting troubles and how he plans to break out of his current funk. “I didn’t expect to be shooting this poorly at the start of the season… I was never concerned about anything. Despite his poor start to the season, Tatum is obviously a top NBA talent, and performances like the one he put up against a star-studded Lakers squad go a long way toward establishing that he’ll be one of the league’s finest players for a long time.
Against the Lakers, Tatum always gives it his all.
Tatum has played the Lakers nine times since joining the NBA, averaging 20.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from three-point range and 52.8 percent from the field, according to StatMuse.
Tatum’s stats from his freshman and sophomore years lower his average marginally, but his final four games versus the purple and gold show even more star-caliber play. Tatum has averaged 30.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and three assists per game while shooting 50% from three-point range and 55% from the field.
Tatum is clearly a huge fan of big events, and games against his previous favorite club are as big as they get when you’re representing Boston. Despite being a longtime Lakers fan, Tatum is starting to display a cutthroat side to his game, taking no prisoners in his pursuit of greatness.
“I believe that’s simply you being competitive and trying to win at any costs.” You have respect for the other team’s players. They’re seen outside of basketball and other sports. I’m not the most emotional guy, but when I go on the court, I don’t care if it’s Brad Beal; I’m trying to get back at him, and he’s someone with whom I grew up. “I believe that’s a mentality you have,” Tatum said of his aggressive outlook. “When I go on the court, it’s my team versus yours, and after the game, it’s whatever, but these 48 minutes, I ain’t got nothing for you.”
Tatum will hope that his bad shooting form has faded and that he can resume producing at the All-Star level we’ve come to expect from him now that he’s had two strong shooting nights in a row.
The Celtics’ next opponent is the Oklahoma City Thunder, whom Tatum and the club will meet on Saturday, November 20th, in the second night of a back-to-back.
